We offer three levels of personal training focusing on functional strength training.
Functional strength training is a type of exercise that focuses on improving your ability to perform everyday activities with ease and efficiency. Imagine being able to lift a heavy grocery bag, climb stairs, or play with your kids without feeling tired or strained. That’s what functional strength training aims to help you achieve!

This type of training involves exercises that mimic real-life movements, using multiple muscle groups at once. For example, instead of just doing a bicep curl, you might do a squat with a shoulder press, which engages your legs, core, and arms all at the same time. This approach helps improve your balance, coordination, and flexibility, making daily tasks easier and reducing the risk of injury.

Benefits of functional strength training

Improved Muscle Strength and Endurance

By working on multiple muscles at once, you build overall strength and stamina faster.

Better Balance and Coordination

Functional exercises often require you to stabilize your body, which enhances your balance and coordination.

Injury Prevention

Strengthening the muscles you use in daily activities can help prevent injuries, especially as you age.

Enhanced Mobility and Flexibility

These exercises often involve a full range of motion, which can improve your flexibility and joint health.

Increased Calorie Burn

Because you’re engaging more muscles, you tend to burn more calories compared to isolated exercises.
