I bet everyone in this group has seen at least one superhero movie. The hero is granted superpowers and must fight an evil villain because there’s big stakes on the line. He or she must save the day!
The best superhero movies have a really strong story with interesting characters.
They say that the best superhero movies actually are popular because they have the most popular villains!
We all know Batman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman and many others!
But we also know The Joker, Thanos, Lex Luthor and Loki.
They say the best villains truly believe in what they’re trying to accomplish. They are 100% convinced their way is the right way.
Heroes and Villains actually have the same backstory….PAIN.
But here’s the big separator…
- The hero says “the world hurt me and I’m not going to let it happen to anyone else.”
- The villain says “the world hurt me and I’m going to hurt it back.”
The both come from pain, they just have different responses to it.
How does this apply to you and your fitness journey?
We choose to be the hero or the villain with the pain that life throws at us. We can get better so we can protect ourselves, our families and our friends.
Or we can hurt ourselves and others by neglecting our health.
